Aim & Objective of the Conference

In past few decades Biotechnology research applications has shown a remarkable potential for future prosperity. However most of this knowledge is largely confined to the scientists and researchers working on that particular field. Chhattisgarh is among the richest State in terms of mineral resources, biospheres and available manpower in India and hence should be supported with the present global advances in the field of Biotechnology, in harnessing natural resources in an ecofriendly and sustainable manner. It is in this context, Dept. of Biotechnology & Microbiology (RCST), proposed to hold a National Conference on 7th sep’ 2018 in Bhilai (C.G). The conference is designed for the scientists, students, scholars, faculties and policy makers with an intention to share ideas/research and gather feedbacks on work in progress or completed contributions. This conference will further stimulate the critical thinking, interaction and learning on broad spectrum of issues related to sustainable utilization of bio resources and simultaneously enhance the capabilities of institutions in Chhattisgarh state.

Conference Theme

• Biotechnology in agriculture (Molecular Analysis and Genomics and Crop protection etc).
• Biotechnology in Industry and Environment (Plant tissue culture, Nanotechnology, Microbiology Innovations and techniques in sustainable use of Biotechnology and Conservation)
• Biotechnology in health care including disease diagnosis and management
• Development of natural products in healthcare based on indigenous knowledge and practices.

Call for Papers:

We welcome scientific contributions and presentations from the young researchers, students, scholars, lectures and policy makers. Interested participants may send an extended abstract after registration , t o natconfrungta2018@gmail.com on or before 10th August 2018. mentioning subject as “ABSTRACT CONFERENCE/AUTHOR NAME/ORAL or POSTER. Abstract should be typed in MS-Word, Times New Roman 12 font size and 1.5 line spacing, justified. The abstract should be unstructured in one paragraph limited to 250 words. The abstract must have title, Author/s, details (Underline the name of presenting author), Designation/Name of organization Email address(es) and phone numbers, Keywords (Not more than five). It should be grammatically correct. Full length paper should not exceed 6000 words covering the key issues of conference. Full length paper will be published in International Journal of Advances in Science Engineering & Technology (IJASEAT) and publication fee for one full length paper will be Rs. 400.

Poster Presentation

The dimension of poster should be 2 feet width and 3 feet length. There will be a best poster certificate.

Oral Presentation

Shortlisted participants will be invited to present their papers at the conference. The time limit for oral presentation will be 10mins. There will be a best paper certificate.
