Teachers’ Day with Pomp and Show at RPS, Bhilai

To mark the birthday of the great Teacher and Philosopher Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, Rungta Public School, Bhilai under the aegis of Sanjay Rungta Group of Institutes celebrated Teacher’s Day on September 5th, 2019 with immense zeal and verve and paid a special tribute to the entire teaching faculty for the contributions they make to the lives of the students. Mr. Sanjay Rungta, Chairman of Sanjay Rungta Group of Institutes was the Chief Guest. The CEO, Mr. Arup Mukhopadhyay, Headmaster, Mr. Amitava Bandyopadhyay & Head of Primary, Mrs. Deepti Singh inaugurated the ceremony by garlanding to the portrait of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan.
A cultural extravaganza was organized by the Prefects’ Council students to appreciate and honor the unwavering commitment of the teachers for the mission and vision of this school. They presented a medley of old melodies with new lyrics reflecting their love for the teachers.
To recognize the outstanding service rendered to the institution, The Best Teacher Award was presented to Mrs. Shilpi Ganguly by Tata Class Edge for her outstanding contribution to the e-learning platform.
The CEO, Mr. Arup Mukhopadhyay congratulated the teachers for inspiring and nurturing the students to march in the right direction. He appreciated their constant endeavor in bringing Rungta Public School, Bhilai to such a great height and becoming No. 1 International School in Bhilai awarded by Education World, India School Ranking 2019-20.
