Teaching Methodology Programme starts at RSR Rungta College of Engineering & Technology
RSR Rungta College of Engineering running under the aegis of Sanjay Rungta Group of Institutions organized an AICTE-ISTE Induction/Refresher Programme on ‘Recent Trends and Research in Teaching Learning Methodology’ on 2nd July 2018.
The Chief Guest at the inauguration of the programme was Hon’ble V.C of CSVTU Dr. M.K.Verma. Dr. Verma proclaimed that with rapid technological developments, there is a need to improve the working of teachers. There are very advanced teaching aids which can be deployed to improve the output of teaching. He appealed to teachers to make good use of this workshop.
Chairman of SRGI Shri Sanjay Rungta explained the importance of learning methodologies and allied technologies. Teachers should keep themselves updated with current teaching trends. If teachers focus on minute details, that would definitely produce excellent results. Technology is a phenomenal aide in the field of teaching.
Principal of RSR-RCET Dr.P.S.Bokare advised teachers to keep refining their teaching methods just as an axe has to be sharpened periodically for wood work. Dr.Bokare explained about ever increasing expectations of students from their teachers. Last decade has seen tremendous social and technological change but in its context the method of teaching have not been updated. Teachers have to keep up as per the expectations of the students.
This programme is focusing on teaching methodologies with particular focus on their role in improving academic level in Engineering and Applied Sciences. The dignitaries gracing the occasion were Shri Sanjay Rungta(Chairman,SRGI), Shri Saket Rungta(Director), Dr. P. S. Bokare(Principal, RSR-RCET), Shri.Sanjeev Shrivastav(Principal,GDRCET) along with lots of staff and students.
