Two days celebration of World Pharmacy Day at Sanjay Rungta Group of Institutions
On the Occasion of World Pharmacy Day, Rungta Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Rungta Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research run under the aegis of Sanjay Rungta Group of Institutions, organized a two-day celebration.
The program started with the inaugural function, presided by Guest of Honour Dr Shekhar Verma, Professor and Deputy Registrar, Pt. Deen Dayal University, Ayush.Raipur, Chief Guest Mr Sanjay Rungta, Chairman, SRGI, Dr Rajesh Kumar Nema, Principal and Dr Harish Sharma, Vice Principal, RIPS, Durg. The program started with a welcome speech by Dr Rajesh Kumar Nema, Principal. Also, SRGI Chairman Sanjay Rungta addressed the gathering and motivated the students for their future. Dr Shekhar Verma highlighted the Role and Responsibilities of Pharmacists in the Community and also encouraged the students to give their service in Community for better Public health. SRGI Campus organized Felicitation Ceremony to acknowledge and applaud the achievements of Dr Shekhar Verma.
Mrs Seema Kashyap, Asst. Prof. addressed about Pharm Club in which the President, Vice President, Secretary, Joint Secretory and Elective members are selected from SRGI’s pharmacy colleges Rungta Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Rungta Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research, Bhilai.
On the occasion, more than 200 students participated from Govt. Higher Secondary School, Kurud, for Celebration of Pharmacist Day with our undergraduate Students in different events like Technical Session, Pharma Expo and Hands-on training in pharma instruments (UV Spectrophotometer, Multistation Tablet Punching machine, Extraction Process etc).
The second day started with Quiz Competition, E-Poster Competition, and Culture Program. The two days of celebration ended with a Prize distribution ceremony and a Vote of thanks by Dr Harish Sharma, Vice Principal.
Chairman of SRGI Sanjay Rungta, Director Saket Rungta and Assistant Director Mohammad Shajid Ansari congratulated the pharmacy fraternity for the successful conduction of the program.
