Once a Spark, Now a Beacon

Every family takes pride in some inherent trait that is passed on to the progeny, generations after generations. Likewise the Rungtas have a streak of philanthropy that has been passed on from one generation to the next. Shri Rai Saheb Richhpalji Rungta, the scion of the family and Shri Ghanshyam Dasji Rungta were the torch bearers of the family who in all earnestness started the service of providing education to the people of Durg and Bhilai and the adjoining areas. Their aim was to bring about an educational reform in this part of the country. The spark they lit has today turned into a beacon. It has become a tradition now and is carried on by the successors, successively, and successfully.

Lighting Many Lives

The GD Rungta Educational Society started in the year 1999 with a mere initial intake of 240 students. Today the scenario has completely changed. There are more than 4000 students from different parts of the country and globe on its rolls today. As the strength of students pursuing Engineering, Technical, Management, Dental, Graduation and Post Graduation grows, the need for more teachers and supporting staff also grows with it. Our faculty is very carefully selected by our highly professional team who are the bridge between the parents and the institution, upholding the belief of the trust in ethical practices.
