Pradaxa vs. warfarin

Pradaxa also has a boxed warning for a type of blood clot called a hematoma that’s spinal (in your spinal column) or epidural (in the area right around your spine). What Not to Do While on Blood Thinners

These abnormalities include impaired platelet aggregation, decreased secretion or activity of platelet-derived proteins involved in blood clotting, and prolongation of bleeding in the absence of thrombocytopenia.
