VIRTUAL TEACHERS’ DAY CELEBRATION OF RUNGTA PUBLIC SCHOOL, BHILAI
The restrictions across the country in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic have affected education system badly. In times like these, the only medium to impart and get lessons is through the digital domain. The same platform became the innovative way of celebrating Teachers’ Day by the students of Rungta Public School, a new age school that runs under the aegis of Sanjay Rungta Group of Institutions.
Enthusiasm and festivity marked the Teachers’ Day celebration that commemorates the birth anniversary of the second President of our country, Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan. This year’s celebration specially was a tribute to the great resolution of the remarkable teachers who are expertly conducting their classes online with tenacity to impart knowledge to their students.
The virtual celebration was one of the most innovative one that saw the participation of students right from the junior classes to the higher classes, engaging themselves in unbridled capacity to shower their love, respect and admiration towards their teachers through Chanting Shloka, speeches, Mono Act, Recitation of poems, Presentation of melodious songs, performance of mesmerizing dances, a duet dance etc. A short skit was also presented by the students of class IX depicting the role of teachers in shaping the future of the students.The entire program was skillfully anchored by Shruti and Kritika of class X.
Shri Sanjay Rungta, Chairman of SRGI greeted all the faculty members on this auspicious occasion. The CEO of the school, Mr. Arup Mukhopadhyay greeted the staff members and appreciated the teachers for their commitment, dedication and sincere efforts. He encouraged the teachers to draw out the best potential of their students. He also acknowledged the role of parents who are guiding their students when they are at home. The memorable program ended with the vote of Thanks proposed by the Cultural Secretary, P Misha.
