RSR Rungta College of Engineering and Technology (RSR-RCET) is all set to provide the most essential resource for every industry, the professionally trained engineers. A renowned team of Architects have designed the campus layout after studying the natural topography, weather conditions and so on. Dr. S. V. Deshmukh was awarded Ph.D. in the area of Mechanical Engineering from RTM Nagpur University, and M.Tech (Industrial Engineering) from VRCE, Nagpur presently the Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT Nagpur).
He has 29 years of experience, out of which 27 years of teaching at BD College of Engineering, Wardha. He was also Professor of Mechanical Engineering. He headed the department of Management Studies during the period 2008 – 2013. He worked as Principal of Suresh Deshmukh College of Engineering, Wardha during the period 2013- 2019.
Under his supervision 3 research scholars have been awarded Ph.D. and 3 Ph.D. research scholars submitted the thesis. He has to his credit 30+ research papers in various National and International Journals and conferences out of which 8 publications are Scopus preview. He has published a textbook, Production & Operation Management Goods & Services Approach Text and Cases.
Dr. S. V. Deshmukh has conducted various Conferences and Workshops like the All India Seminar on Quality Progress 2019 in collaboration with The Institution of Engineers (INDIA), Nagpur Local Chapter & SQMS, Nagpur. The International Conference on Emerging Frontiers of Technology for Rural Area, EFITRA 2012, sponsored by AICTE (New Delhi) in March 2012 followed by another International Conference on Bench Marks in Engineering Science and Technology (IC-BEST 2012), in September 2012. He has received week-long training on Outcome Based Accreditation (OBA) organized by NBA New Delhi at G.H. Raisoni College of Engineering Nagpur. He has also conducted training for Six Sigma Green Belt at SQMS, Nagpur.
He served as the Chairman, Board of Studies of Production Engineering at RTM Nagpur University. He has also served as Coordinator, Special Task Force, BOS (Mechanical Engg.) RTM Nagpur University. He was Member of Academic Council, RTM Nagpur University, Nagpur.
He is certified ISO 9001:2008 Lead Auditor and certified Six Sigma Green Belt. He is a Fellow Member of The Institution of Engineers (INDIA) and a life member of The Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE).
